The notebooks contain: a master bibliography; photographs and photocopies of drawings and works by Préault; notes on letters; addresses; copies of biographies; research for catalogue raisonné; photocopies of documents and letters; copies of catalogs of the Salons and other exhibitions; biographical information; obituaries; copies of posthumous literature; and Millard's research correspondence with scholars, libraries, archives and museums. Also included are manuscripts for publication, photographs, transparencies and ephemera concerning Préault and his work.
